Contract Auctioneer, Fine Art & Benefit Auctions

I'm not sure what category this goes under:  I was contacted by a man in the L.A. are who wants to sell his entire art gallery inventory at once and move out of his leased gallery space.  While I do specialize in art auctions (which is why he contacted me), I do not run an auction house.  I usually contract with a gallery to sell artwork to a set clientele from their own mailing list.  I have never handled the  marketing/advertising aspects needed to create a business liquidation auction.  Is there someone who is interested in working on this as a partnership?  I certainly can (and want to) handle selling the art at the auction, but would like someone to work with me on setting the auction up.  Any takers?  He wants to do it within the next 3 months as his lease will expire at that time.  Please email me at partagerauction@msn.com. Thanks...Cheryl Parker, Partager Auction

Cheryl,

We have some proven effective auction marketing products to help you! If you want to review our marketing packages, take a look at www.asmarketingcenter.com .... We have a list of approximatley 288,000 subscribers on our National Auction List, and there are several thousand art buyers, collectors and dealers there... In addition, the press release and Google Adwords freatures of our packages would be very effective, as well as a video/commercial, I would think.

We would be glad to help you with the marketing aspect! Please feel free to contact me when you get more of the details nailed down!

Best regards!

Thanks Tammy for responding but I just do not want to get into whole-business liquidations.  I just don't have the time to devote to that kind of auction as I am a contract auctioneer and want to stay that way...I'd rather pass it on to someone who has dealt with that type of thing.  Thanks again!

I don't see where this site has anything to do with art or auctions, much less anything related to the topic of this thread. In fact, it doesn't seem to give much info on what it does offer. Is this just another one of YOUR websites that you are attempting to market through erroneous postings on forums, such as this? Such activities would typically be considered forum spamming. Please explain how this has anything to do with art or auctions.
